Anna Daana

Food for the Less Privileged — Make someone's life by giving of yours.

Our Mission

Anna Daana, meaning "the gift of food," is one of our core programs dedicated to ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry. We provide hot, nutritious, and healthy meals to hungry and needy people who are unable to prepare or buy food for themselves. This program embodies the ancient Indian tradition of sharing food as an act of compassion and service.

Our Vision

A world where no one goes to bed hungry. Through collective action and the spirit of seva, we envision communities coming together to nourish the most vulnerable among us — one meal at a time.

Programs & Initiatives

How We Help

Through our Anna Daana program, we serve meals at multiple locations including hospitals, orphanages, and community centers. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to prepare and distribute fresh, wholesome meals daily. We focus not just on feeding people, but on providing nutritious food that supports their health and well-being.

Impact & Reach

Since its inception, our Anna Daana program has served over 9.2 million meals to those in need. We currently serve 224,000+ meals every month and operate feeding programs across multiple sites, ensuring that our reach extends to the most vulnerable members of our community. Every meal served is a step towards a more compassionate and caring society.

How You Can Help

Your support can help us serve more meals and reach more people. A contribution of ₹500 can provide a month's worth of meals for a child, while ₹5,000 can help us serve meals to an entire family for a month. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference in someone's life.
